Yuzo Koshiro a confirmé au TGS 2023 qu’Earthion sera lancé en 2024 et qu’il arrivera à la fois sur Mega Drive et sur les consoles de la génération actuelle.

Il a également été confirmé que Superdeluxe distribuerait le jeu au Japon, tandis que Limited Run Games participerait à sa distribution en Occident.
